Questions about sequences and deliverability
Where do the leads come from?
From your own imports, your enrichment runs and our website scraper, which finds people and contact details on company websites. Optimizly does not sell access to a third-party contact database.
How does warm-up work?
Mailboxes in your workspace send each other natural-looking emails on a gradual ramp. With IMAP access we check whether those emails landed in the inbox or spam, move them out of spam, mark them read and reply to a share of them. You need at least two mailboxes.
Do warm-up emails count toward my sending limits?
No. Warm-up runs separately from your sequences and campaigns, and Optimizly recommends a lower sequence volume while a mailbox is still warming up.
Can I write in Dutch, German and French?
Yes. Each email step can have a version per language. AI can translate your base version; translations are marked until you review them.
How is the A/B winner decided?
With a two-proportion test on reply rates (open rates until the first replies come in). A variant is only marked as the winner once the difference is statistically meaningful, never on a handful of sends.
